MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ukraine has lost up to 280 soldiers in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
Over the given period, the Russian armed forces have repulsed four attacks by Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk direction and another one in the Zaporozhye direction.
"Enemy losses [in the Donetsk direction] amounted to up to 280 military personnel killed and wounded, two tanks, two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, three Kozak armored fighting vehicles, and 15 vehicles," the MoD said in a statement.

Ukraine has also lost up to 190 soldiers in the Krasny Liman direction, over 170 soldiers in the South Donetsk direction and up to 145 soldiers in the Kupyansk direction, the ministry added.
