A massive wave of college protests has broken out across the United States. What started as somewhat modest demonstrations against the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip in mid-April has now gained momentum amid the deteriorating conditions in the region. Pro-Palestine student rallies have garnered media attention across the political spectrum due to unexpected brutality by the law enforcement in response to the demonstrations. Undergrads are expressing solidarity with the people in Gaza currently subjected to a devastating humanitarian catastrophe sanctioned by a tacit agreement of US authorities.
