Russia is scheduled to hold its 2024 presidential election between March 15 and 17. Alongside Vladimir Putin, who is running as an independent, the candidates include State Duma lower house international affairs committee chair Leonid Slutsky from LDPR, lower house Far East and Arctic development committee chair Nikolai Kharitonov from CPRF, and lower house Deputy Speaker Vladislav Davankov from the New People party.
